About West 72

AKC Canine Retreat West 72 is located in the heart of the Upper West Side between Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues. It has multiple areas for indoor and outdoor play and the only privately owned outside dog run in Manhattan. The outdoor field is a fully protected, two-level area that is ideal for dogs to socialize and get exercise during the day.

Nichole has been caring for dogs since she started a dog walking business when she was 9 years old, and she has been part of the team since 2016. As the general manager for the West 72nd Street location, she enjoys working with owners to create an individualized experience for their dogs to minimize separation anxiety and stress during their stay.

Nichole lives in New Jersey where she enjoys snuggling with her two Pitbull terriers, Athena and Raziel, and taking them on hikes. In her free time, she travels as much as she can and roots for the Eagles.
